Giving Culture is a corporate gift voucher program that was established in 2022 as an innovative way to support our Australian arts community and contribute to the long-term sustainability of the sector. Our goal is to increase the wider community’s awareness, engagement and participation with cultural activities, performances and experiences.
Rather than limiting organisations and voucher holders to just one field of the arts, the magic of Giving Culture is that it opens up the opportunity for experiences across a wider array of dance, film, music and theatre – and potentially more in the future!
Giving Culture’s founders were inspired by their own experience as regular arts subscribers and galvanised into action by the incredible difficulties cultural institutions faced in 2020 and 2021 through delayed and cancelled events, closed venues and restricted travel. We think it’s critical for our society to have a thriving and vibrant arts sector, and for more people in our community to participate in it.
Giving Culture partners with Australia’s most critically acclaimed and inspirational not-for-profit arts organisations to create experiences to remember. Our current partners cover the fields of music, theatre and film: Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO), Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) and Sydney Film Festival (SFF).
